Telehealth Informed Consent

By submitting an order and medical intake through IronMend, you acknowledge and agree to the following.

How this works

Your order and intake are reviewed asynchronously by an independent licensed provider, meaning the provider evaluates the written information you submit, on their own schedule, without a live video or phone visit unless they determine one is needed. The provider may contact you with follow-up questions, ask for a consultation, approve your order, or decline it. The provider’s decision is theirs alone; IronMend has no influence over it, and submitting an order is never a guarantee of approval.

What telehealth can and cannot do

Telehealth makes provider review convenient, but it has limits: the provider cannot perform a physical examination and relies entirely on the accuracy of what you submit. You agree to answer the intake truthfully and completely; inaccurate answers can lead to decisions that harm your health. Telehealth is not a substitute for a primary-care relationship, and we encourage you to keep your own physician informed about any therapy you receive.

Emergencies

IronMend and its independent providers do not provide emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Products

Therapies available through IronMend are compounded medications prepared by US-licensed compounding pharmacies. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and individual results vary. The provider will consider whether a requested therapy is appropriate for you, but no specific outcome is promised.

Your information

Your intake is shared with the reviewing provider and dispensing pharmacy as described in our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. You may withdraw from care at any time by cancelling unshipped orders and closing your account.

Consent

Checking the consent box during ordering (or submitting your intake) confirms that you have read this document, you are at least 18 years old, you are the person who will use the therapy, and you voluntarily consent to receive care by asynchronous telehealth as described above.
